Warranty commitments

All Vartoviy K9 products carry a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase. The ballistic panel of the body armour is covered for 36 months (3 years) from the date of manufacture, in line with DSTU 8782:2018.

Terms by category

• Dog body armour: 12 months on the product (cover, seams, hardware) and 36 months (3 years) on the ballistic panel
• Tactical harness, tactical vest, rescue harness: 12 months
• Two-point strap, paw support straps: 12 months
• Tactical first-aid kit: 12 months on the pouch and hardware; medical consumables follow the expiry date printed by their manufacturer
• Veterinary stretcher: 12 months

What the warranty covers

• Seams coming apart and hardware tearing off under normal use
• Manufacturing defects in fabric, webbing and buckles
• Manufacturing defects in the ballistic panel
• Any discrepancy between the declared and the actual specification

What it does not cover

• Mechanical damage caused by improper use
• Wear caused by incorrect care: washing in hot water, drying on a radiator
• Damage from chemical agents, fuel or concentrated acids
• Natural wear: abrasion, colour loss from UV
• Alterations made to the product by the owner

3. We send return instructions — by Nova Poshta, at our expense
4. After inspection — repair or replacement within 14 business days
